SafeRacks is designed first and foremost for maximum strength and durability. Each product boasts an industrial quality design and is manufactured with 14 gauge industrial grade steel. The horizontal supports are created with a C-Channel design with wire mesh decking on top. Setting the industry benchmark for quality and versatility, SafeRacks structural supports are tested using SMA's (Shelving Manufacturers Association) guidelines to hold over 1,500 pounds per rack (600 pounds when hanging from the ceiling).

To maximize the amount of weight that can be held when attached to the ceiling of your garage, SafeRacks patented ceiling connector attaches to several joist on your ceiling, providing a better load distribution for the weight of the racks and its contents. This dual connection design helps to displace the amount of weight bearing on any single joist and provide redundancy for each vertical support

SafeRacks main structural support utilizes state of the art C-Channel construction that has proven strength advantages. This patented 3 sided support beam is unlike any other product on the market, in that competing products use two sided beams (commonly referred to as or Z" channel) that are structurally weaker than SafeRacks C Channel. In fact, C- Channel is nearly twice the strength of competing products.

Additionally, in that the SafeRacks system does not require awkward center supports and thus allows for easy loading/unloading of long items, such as a Christmas tree, Thule or Kayak.
